Active climate protection


As an industrial company and due to the energy-intensiv production process and products, we are aware of our responsibility for the climate and society. We take responsibility and actively tackle the issue of climate protection. We do not follow the mainstream, but our convictions. We have been reducing our energy consumption and emissions through various measures for many years. As a result, we have already achieved significantly more than required and want to reach our target of climate neutrality well ahead of the EU target.

Reduction through innovation

As a result, CO2 emissions have been reduced by more than 65% since 2007 while production volumes have increased
Due to innovative improvements in the production process, energy consumption in the area of fossil fuels has been reduced by more than 20%, particularly in recent years.
By optimizing the production process and acquiring new partners, we have managed to reduce the production waste of PE foam and reuse 100% of it.
Our annual electricity production corresponds to the average consumption of a small village
our energy consumption per product is equivalent to only 0.7% of the carbon footprint of a t-shirt over the product's lifetime

Due to the measures we have already implemented, we have been able to realize major energy savings. Thanks to our strong partners, we will continue on this path with determination in order to achieve our target of "climate neutrality by 2040".
